§ 34-40. Title and purpose.

(a)

Title. This article will be known as "Burke County Solid Waste Management Facility Ordinance."

(b)

Statement of purpose. The intent of this article is to provide location standards for solid waste management facilities in Burke County. This article will act in tandem with Burke County's Solid Waste Management Plan to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens and natural resources of Burke County.
