§ 6-36. Sales; licenses; qualifications.

  • (a)

    No alcoholic beverages shall be sold in the unincorporated area of the county except at an established place of business that has been issued a license as provided in this article.

    (b)

    A license shall be granted only to natural persons who are either owners, shareholders, directors, officers or managers of the proposed business. Each license shall be valid only for one establishment at the address stated in the license. No license shall be granted to any person who is not at least 21 years of age, of good moral character, financially responsible, and who meets all other requirements of state and federal laws and regulations governing the sale of such beverages, and who has submitted proper application and complied with all provisions of this article.
