The board of commissioners shall appoint one member who shall serve initially for
a period of two years and a second member that shall serve initially for a period
of four years. Thereafter, all members appointed shall serve for a period of four
years.
(b)
The board of commissioners shall appoint only two members to the Central Savannah
River Area Unified Development Authority at any time. The term of office of such appointment
shall be determined by the bylaws of the authority following its initial composition.
Any person appointed to serve on the Central Savannah River Area Unified Development
Authority shall be a resident of Burke County prior to the appointment.
