Upon notice from the issuing authority, work on any project that is being done contrary
to the provisions of this article shall be immediately stopped. Such notice shall
be in writing and shall be given to the permit holder, the person in charge of the
operations, and the owner of the property, and shall state the conditions under which
work may resume. When an emergency exists, written notice shall not be required.
(b)
If the conditions are not brought into compliance within five working days of the
notice, the road department shall accomplish the work and deduct the costs from the
posted bond. Any violation of the provisions of this article shall be punished as
for a misdemeanor.
