§ 30-34. Concluding operations.

  • (a)

    The timber operator shall be given written notification to the road superintendent upon completion of operations. The road superintendent shall inspect the site to assure that the area has been restored to its original condition, including any shaping of ditches, grading or seeding as required. The timber operator shall be notified in writing of any deficiencies and given 15 days to correct those deficiencies. If not accomplished during that period, the road department shall complete the work and deduct the cost from the posted bond.

    (b)

    When the road superintendent has determined that the road and access site are in a proper state of repair, the superintendent shall provide a written release of liability to the timber operator.
